The Crazy Chicken Lady's Page

Yes, this is what my children, friends and coworkers now call me.  Chuck just rolls his eyes.

The latest addition to our "herd".  The following is mindless entertainment for my stress relief!

  It started with 19 fuzzy nuggets...in my bathroom...

then they took over an old chopper box, notice the little patio door(display model), soon to have a deck addition...  The crew loves their new spacious pad! They enjoy watching the cats and dogs through the windows.  They also gawk at us while we pick lettuce for them out of the garden.

        

   

I don't know much about chickens, but I don't think those two are going to be laying many eggs!  They sure are pretty though.  Chuck likes the white guy, but (he) has attitude and likes to body slam the rest of the group around.  The other one screams like crazy when I pick it up, you'd think I was putting it in the stew pot!

 

She's my little princess, she follows me around!   This is one of our Gold Laced Wyandottes.  Ethan helped pick them out for their winter hardiness and their coloring.
